I love success stories. FYI, make sure and close the www.mydomain.com vs. mydomain.com resolution on your domains. Pick one. Got a 1pt. PR bump on all the ones that I did. May make you that 7 next time. Best regards, Archer :winkwink: |
Damn that 3 minute edit rule sucks
QUOTE=PimpDaddyPants]I did some PR optimization for a PR 5 and now a PR6. Next update hope to be a PR 7. :winkwink:[/QUOTE] Congrats, I love success stories. FYI, make sure and close the www.mydomain vs. mydomain resolution on ALL your domains. Most apache servers answer to both. Google considers them duplicates. Forcing your pages to answer only to www with a 301 from mydomain.com to www.mydomain will bump your PR. Got a 1pt. PR bump on all the ones that I did with no other changes whatsoever. May make you that 7 next time. Try this in your root .htaccess RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^mydomain.com RewriteRule (.*) http://www.mydomain.com/$1 [R=301,L] ErrorDocument 404 http://www.mydomain.com/ ErrorDocument 403 http://www.mydomain.com/ Best regards, Archer :winkwink: |
