Gas prices normalizing.
Oil hit a 3 month low today.
Reserves are back up there is now a surplus of stock again. Once it is clear that Hurricane Wilma will clear the western Gulf we could see another drop in oil prices. I paid just $2.72 for premium yesterday. |
It's about damn time. Seriously.
|
Thanks to the government here, our prices will always suck balls...
|
Wait. I thought gas was going to be $5 per gallon by Halloween. What's going on!? Its a conspiracy!
I always wonder if people ever look back over situations where they totally freaked out only to find out that everything turned out "ok". It usually does turn out "ok". Why people drive themselves crazy with theories and scenarios is beyond me. |

Gas in Colorado is pretty much like that right now. A few months ago, it was a lot lower though. So when they jumped the price to $2.70 and then to like $3.00 everyone complained about the $3.00 and now are happy about the $2.70. Fuck it. I have to drive and thus have to pay. But yea, $2.70 is still better than $3.00. |
it was $2.70 here 2 weeks ago, already its in the $2.50'ish
waiting for Wilma to hit though, im sure the prices will soar once again. |
Just $2.72?? See what high prices do? Makes you think that 2.72 is cheap. I want it to go back down below 2. Fuck.
|
I wish it would go back below 2$ too Matt. It really sucks a mean one!
|
Gas goes up and doesn't like to come down :Oh crap
|
still close to 3 bucks a gallon here..fucking gougers
|
$2.75 for regular here
|
Normal?
Depends what you mean by "normal".
When they get back below two bucks a gallon I'll be impressed. |
$4.44/gallon here :(
|
St. Pete ehh? I have a shirt that says, "My crackwhore beat up your crackwhore" from St. Pete
|
I guess there was a bit of sarcasm lost in my message.
Normal, well there is no normal for gas, but all real production, supply and economic factors should keep us at a $35 to $40 per barrell. The $70 barrels we saw were a result of lax and non-existent regulation. Steve Forbes, a man who understands large business and the global economy a whole lot better than I do made a prediction based on economic factors and a thorough understanding of the oil industry that we should see oil normalize at $35 to $40 per barrel. At that rate we'd be well back in the $1.50 or so range for gasoline. Are we running out of oil? I'm not sure, I hope we have plenty left. Have we hit "peak oil" as some senationalists preach? Again, I'm not an expert I don't know. We all are aware that the world economy is dependent upon oil for normal life. It is our cheapest and easiest source of fuel to obtain. I'm not happy paying $2.72 for a gallon of gasoline. I 'm not happy paying $2.00 for a gallon of gasoline. There is no price at all I'd be happy paying, but I can understand paying $1.50 for a gallon of fuel. I hope that the pricing gets better for others too. Holland and most of Europe gets raped at the gas pump. |
I filled my car last night. Paid 2.91 for premium. Sigh.
|
It needs to go down down down. We are still getting plenty fucked at the pump.
|
I'd be okay with $1.65 for premium
|
Steve, I have to agree with you on this one. That is a fair price.
|
I am paying about 2.41 for regular, and premium is about 2.80

It only went down about 5 cents a litre here

They play the sheep for fools all the time and it works. Why should they change.
Every year there is some reason that we have a spike in price. There's gonna be a storm, there is a storm, there's gonna be a war, there is a war. They shock the shit out of us with a huge increase, and then slowly lower prices, but never close to what it was. Remember just 6 months ago people were bent out of shape when it went over $2. Now people are gleeful that it is under $2.50. The oil companies are still ass fucking us, just using a little more lube now to make it not hurt quite so much. Ya don't put an alcoholic in charge of a liquor store, and you for sure shouldn't have and oil man for president. Alas, you all voted for him. |
i remember when i used to be shocked when premium went about $2 lol...
|
I can remember saying, "Damn... I can't believe I'm paying $1.80 for a gallon of gas!!!"
Sucks how $2.41 a gallon can seem like a bargain. Fuckers... |
