I just got my new ipod with video last night. It rox out!!! Very Sharp screen.. Great color. A bit on the low volume side...however maybe I am jusst going deaf.

For me I travel often... So it's great. But ask me in 6 months from now when they come out with the video extreme pod or something..I most likely will be pissed..lol
Right now though its great. So yeah go get one if you can. I would suggest the 60 Gig like I bought, as it has extended battery life and double the capacity for $100 more.

Julian... No no porno, but if you convert it and upload it sure it will. But retail, I am sure there will never bee porno in the itunes store.

i just bought a nano and the utility is that its so small its like not carrying anything..

but to watch videos.. why not just wait to get home and watch videos on your big screen?

No porn from itunes, like you said, but people could do it on their own. Or I'm sure some sponsors will be doing it soon like the PSP porn.

I am still new to this all
But from what I understand it's pretty involved with converting Standard DVD movies over, but I am sure people will starting producing these just for the ipod and PSP.

Actually I just came across a site that some porn movies and shows like South Park are all ready converted. Scarry!

I've been using an old Palm T2 for audio and video when traveling.

I load up 3-4 tv shows and 2-3 movies + an audio book and a bunch of songs before getting on a plane. The battery lasts about 5 hours, so it's good through most of the flights I take.

If I was going to switch, I think that I'd get a PSP. You can load up movies and music on a memory card and play psp games.

The only drawback to both is the storage size. 1GB memory cards are about normal for both. However, that has never been an issue for me as there as always been more entertainment then flight length.

cool.. I've been using my Iriver HP-320 for video for quite some time.. screen's a little smaller than the ipods though...
