Hardcore Producers, Please Consider: (opinions, Ladies?)
Why not produce hardcore that appeals more to women as well as men? Girls like to see hardcore action, too, but many of them need a few things to really get them going.
For example: Kissing - doesn't have to be lovey, dovey kissing. Some firm, "Oh my God I want to fuck you!" type kissing helps get the women I know going. The male shows some aggression but in an "I really fucking want you!" way instead of a "You're my cum bucket" type way. Know what I mean? Also... do things that have the woman get off first. Concentrate on her. Find out what actually gets her off and do it on camera. Maybe she has to be riding him on top and kissing hard like mentioned before. Just do it! I know I'd like watching that too. Then, when she's taken care of, let the male actor have his way with her in whatever manner he needs to get himself off. I know certain women who will remain unnamed that absolutely love it when a man takes what he wants, particularly after giving her what SHE wants. I bet such content would convert like crazy! |
I love watching the guys balls from the back view pounding the muffin

I believe its been done (exactly as you described) several years ago. The majority of adult consumers have always been male and therefore it makes sense to appeal to them. Generally speaking women don't buy porn on the scale that men do. So no matter how perfect the packaging it's very likely that it wouldn't sell like mad. Whether its a social hangup or something else girls aren't as porn crazy as most men....IMHO :2 cents:

And besides, the porn I mentioned above would probably interest ME a lot more than what's out there right now. |
Without going too deep, the simple reason is that while it may convert like crazy, for a content provider, there is little demand.
|
I've bought memberships to pornsites a few times, and I'm a girl. But it's not something that I concentrate on. Women surfers like to be anonymous, and are on the lookout for free porn too. Women look at porn more than you think. I don't just do it for work, sometimes I enjoy watching it too. Girl/girl/guy is a big seller with women. Those type of sites really get me off. Thanks

The major flaw in your theory is that you are talking to (potential) models that shoot porn, or chicks in the industry. That is such a minor segment of socienty, that it isn't even funny. That is all I am going to say on a public forum until I announce the launch of my next project. |

Until people find a way to mix a soap opera with hardcore sex I do not see women being real consumers. Unfortunatly this would require good story lines and real acting. Neither of which our industry does well.

OK, I just asked my best friend about this. She's NOT in the industry, she's a soldier in the military and she's 24 years old. I asked if she's ever bought a membership to a porn site, ANSWER: Yes. Question: How many times? Answer: Twice What type of site was it? Answer: Adult Friend Finder ( I know that's not really porn, but I guess she sees it that way) and another one I don't remember. Question: Would you buy a membership to a porn site again, and if so, what type? Answer: Yes I would.
Question: Do you really look at porn, and if so, how often? Answer: Yes I really do Misty, damn it, haha. Why are you asking me all this? I look at it about once a week. Question: What really turns you on? Answer: Two hot looking people having sex. OK, I had no idea she looked at porn. Interesting! I called her up on the cell because I was curious to see. It's really a surprise to me, though. That may just be a random case, but I wonder if there's a lot more women out there who look at it but don't admit it. I bet there's a LOT. Not JUST in this industry. |

Of course they look at it, they also have sex. They just rarely have to pay for either. And "a lot" is pretty subjective. |

Though yes if you could take that style of show yet also show actual penetration then yes you would have a winner. |

See I believe that women don't actually want to see it (like guys do) but rather prefer to have it implied... |
Women would look at and pay for more porn if it was appealing - but a quick surf over the top sites and they're mostly disgusting (IMHO) - lots of over the top language, lots of fluids, teen looking sweeties batting their lashes. I'd like to see hunky guys, stories, romance and then the sex. . .

I think they like to see. :)
And I also think that we're missing a little something here: I'm not saying that we need to target a female only audience, rather an audience that comprises both men, women, and couples. I think that last one is a potential gold mine. "Sure honey, you can buy the membership because I like the site too". Think Redclouds. Lots of couples subscribe. |

Though I also think this would need a solid female cast just like Sex and the City where the men are constantly switched out, sort of like a reversal on the way porn is done (men are the main elements). |
Okay... here's the deal! As a former performer, I will tell you WHY the women don't cum in the scenes very often.
1) We want to shoot our scenes as quickly as possible, so we can make the most cash in the shortest period of time -- the goal is to get enough diverse footage to create the final product with minimal wasting of our time and the employer's resources 2) Usually, we have just met the people we will be performing with, and haven't had the time to nurture the relationship to the point where they know how to actually get us off in the short period of time it takes to shoot a scene. 3) Often, the sex that feels the best (and gets women off easiest) isn't the sex that looks the best on camera. So we have to decide which is more important -- getting the the best looking scenes or getting genuine women's orgasms. Since we're hired to create the best looking scenes, that's what we focus on! 4) Shooting porn is a job, so instead of just having the kind of recreational sex we have at home, we have to consider our employer's goals at all times. With our brains in the mode to get the best camera angles and the best variety of positions and sexual activity, we aren't in the relaxed mindset that makes it easy to cum. 5) For guys on set, cumming is their final job. There is alot of pressure for the guys to bring it, so even when they pop their loads, they aren't the kinds of orgasms that rock their worlds in their private lives Don't forget, talent is paid to create an illusion. It's a job! |
