Has Anyone Purchased This:
|
I haven't purchased it, but according to the program owner, 60 people have bought it in 3 weeks.. DOn't know if any of them are on this board.
I am interested in it, but I don't like buying software that I can't take for a test drive to some extent. I've bought scripts before that sounded promising, only to find out that I had to almost rewrite the script in order to make it work as described. It may be a great script, but I won't spend that kind of money sight unseen. But that's just me.. |
Not much info on the page either.....what is it, perl, php....?
what does it require.....? I wouldn't spend money based on what's on the site DynaMite |
its all true,,, i have used it and it works well,,,
only thing is that it is a perl program that sits on your PC,,, you have download additional software so perl works on your PC |

I don't understand something ... if this program is so good as it is advertised I wonder why the programmer doesn't use it himself to make a lot of $$ rather than selling it for 90$ to 60 people ...
why not keep it for himself and make a lot of money and sharing it with the competition? |
It does what it says it will do.
The downside is its not customizable like I hoped it would be, you can only use 3 keywords per page (and there's one or two SE's that reject the submit if you don't have at least 4) So I couldn't use the templates I wanted to use that had 6 keywords per page and I'm going to have to make new templates from scratch. But for the price its probably not a bad buy if you've got time to optimize your templates. My :2 cents: |
I bought it. Don't like it. It makes doorway pages. I thought it was something different. I asked politely for the Webmaster to return my money to my account. He got shitty and refused to do it. He has a disclaimer on his page, which I really think, he put up after I asked for my money back. I did not even test it for speed and efficiency, as I already have software that will make doorway pages. The templates and keywords have to be heavily modified to be worth anything as doorway pages.
He told me that the script is really worth thousands instead of $89.95. It was purchased through PayPal so even though I filed a complaint, because it is PayPal, I don't expect to get my money back. I won't knock the script (as I did not test it) so if one wants to put in the time, it may make doorway pages, efficiently. You have to download and install Perl. I don't even have the script as Perl did not install correctly and I ended up having to use GoBack to reset my hard drive and when I did this I lost the zip file that was E-mailed to me. I am going to try and recover it but I don't think I can and it is not worth alot of effort as I would never use it anyhow. Shit happens. |
nnnnnnope!

If he lets you purchase it with a major credit card, you can get your money back. I've had a merchant account (Visa, MC, AmEx, etc.) for years, and believe me in a customer/merchant dispute, the customer almost always wins. Of course, it may take a little time to get your money back, but if he is smart, he'll refund your money on the mere threat of a chargeback. A refund is preferable to a chargeback anyday.
I wouldn't use PayPal if my life depended on it: http://www.paypalwarning.com/ |
I don't keep any funds in a PayPal account. This purchase was made through PayPal because that is what the Webmaster uses to purchase his script. I of course had to use a CC to pay through PayPal. I am going to inform my CC holder to cancel payment but you have to go through some paper work there as well.
I have heard that it is very difficult to get your money refunded if you go through PayPal and I was informed by PayPal that the investigation will take a minimum of 30 days. |
it's not hard since you can always claim you never got the program.
Virtual Items are not protected by paypal. I've sold hundreds of things via paypal and only got burned twice. But you can call your credit card company and get a refund too. |
Well.. you guys just made my decision for me.. think I'll pass..

I have recovered the script. GoBack has a recovery feature. It is the first time I used this feature, but it worked perfectly.
I have filed a complaint with PayPal and with my CC holder. Clay: The script does not come with a license, nor is there a copyright notice on the script (makes me wonder if he didn't rip it off from someone else). In one of our E-mail exchanges he told me to sell the script to someone else if I don't want it. I have all of the E-mails that were exchanged. After reading your post I E-mailed him and told him that instead of selling the script I may just upload it to AWMR (Adult Webmaster Mega Resources) and offer it for free download. I told him he could end the matter by refunding my money. I am awaiting a response, but this is the weekend so it may take some time. |
tell him to gofuckyourself and just upload it. if he didnt license then it's General Public License

It's just a really cheesy site where he sells it. I asked him if he had a trial type version for a test drive and he, in affect, said no... and I can't see paying what he wants if I don't know how it works, but I've learned how it works from other posts here, so as I said earlier.. I'll pass... It isn't a load & go script.. |
I bought it... and it has done what I thought it would... when I had tech problem he solved it for me. But he is kind of an ass... I paid $90 for it.. three days later Lenny sent me a page saying it was $60.. when I asked about it.. he gave me some sob story bout medical expenses and shit and how he sells it to some people for $600 and thats just tough...
so.. he is an ass... but the script basically does what it says... and you can get him on ICQ sometimes for tech support... of course.. what you actually have on your pages that are generated will determine if you get any SE traffic or not!!! |
I received a response. Below is part of his response:
"I dont care what you do. Stop contacting me. Give it to the Pope for all I care. The script works and you dont get a refund. I dont care if I never sell another script." This is part of a previous E-mail: "Look... sell it to someone if you want but you dont deserve your money back." My Question to you Webmasters out there: Does this not appear to give me explicit permission to do with the script whatever I choose too, including offering it up as a free download on my site. Without the script having copyright info in it and without it being licensed I personally think he ripped it off from someone else. I will wait until PayPal and/or my CC holder make a decision (both of which said a mimimum of 30 days) before I make a decision about what further action I may take. |
It sure as hell does, I would upload it everywhere! he doesnt have the brains to take legal action anyways

If there's no place in the script that identifies the author/owner, etc., and the person that you honestly felt was the owner, as he was the person that sold it to you, told you to "do what you wanted", "Sell it", yada yada, then you should be within your rights to do as he said.

Just because he's a moron doesn't mean you should steal from him.
Phone visa and chargeback... The term is "not as promised" - they'll charge it back, believe me - I got burned for $1500, and there was not a damn thing PayPal could do about it, as the thieving piece of shit was smart enough to not even attempt to go through Paypal's process.. Cheers, Backov |

hey let me know if you decide to burm the scum bag, i want a copy of thje script, email me [email protected] |
Hi. I'm the Pope.
Let me know when I can get my copy of the script. Thanks. |
Just received this from PayPal:
"PayPal's Buyer Complaint Policy does not apply to disputes about the attributes or quality of goods received. As a result, we cannot reverse the transaction or issue a refund. We encourage you to continue to work directly with the seller for an amicable resolution." You may want to keep this in mind if you purchase a product through PayPal. So now it will be up to my CC holder to reverse the transaction. |
Post it Path, it sounds like it's public domain anyway. If not you have documented proof that he told you to sell it, he didn't say how many copies you could sell at :2 cents: a piece. You might need a Paypal preferred business account for all the dough you'd make.
Nz:ak47: |
while you are giving it out email it to webmaster at 4pics.com
|
I'll take a copy.
|
Heh.. I'll donate server space for the distribution of the script if you send me a copy of the email that says he doesn't care what you do with it with headers intact.

AdultWire:
I will wait untill my CC holder either cancels the payment or refuses to cancel the payment before I decide what, if any, additional action I will take. My CC holder told me they could not do anything for 30 days and that in the meantime I should try to work it out with the involved parties. The provider of the script has flatly refused to refund the money. PayPal has refused to return the money. So there is not anything to work out. I am going to call my CC holder again tomorrow. I do not have a clear understanding why they have to wait 30 days. |
God what a bunch of runaround bullshit you are getting. You'd think that dweeb who is selling the script would have given you your money back instead of being made to look like an absolute asshole on one of the biggest webmaster boards around (like maybe, his future customers? duh)
Anyway, let'em burn. :feels-hot Nz |
I just got off of the phone with my CC holder. They are going to reverse the transaction. I don't know why the last person I talked to told me I had to wait a minimum of thirty days. My money is supposed to be returned to my account within a few days. If this in fact happens I will not upload the script. I would probably not have uploaded the script anyhow, as it would not have been worth the potential problems.
