Due 10-20-2005 01:46 AM

I could probably find a descent used car for that prize.
In Denmark you wont get much car for less than $40K if you are looking for a new car.

Ace-wtf 10-20-2005 01:49 AM

The one I drove last week had a V6 engine, leather, power everything and a moonroof.

Was $26,200 before rebates, discounts, trades or negotiating.

WebairGerard 10-21-2005 06:38 AM

Keeping in mind the money you are willing to spend:
05 Toyota Prius
06 Honda Civic (looks cooler, bigger inside)
06 Honda CR-V
06 Pontiac G6
Mini Cooper if you can get it for upper 20's if you are lucky.

Jer 10-21-2005 06:47 AM

I think for $25k you can't buy a new Honda Civic in Brazil :(

Jer 10-21-2005 06:51 AM

The car I like costs $36k (it's a brazilian 4x4 car that looks like a Jeep Wrangler), I will buy it when I win the lottery

Jer 10-21-2005 06:56 AM

It was like $20k-$22k about two years ago. Damn weak dollar.

I'm looking to get rid of a G35 coupe fully loaded on 19"s.

I want a Lexus IS350 :)

PenisFace 10-21-2005 08:55 AM

Skyline GTR. Unless you're in the US. Then you won't be able to get one with that much money :(

Morgan 10-21-2005 08:57 AM

Stage 4 turbo for your existing ride

Haha, skylines are cheap man. R34's sell for like $32,000 US in Japan. I can buy a pristine, low km R32 GTR here in Canada for $15,000 or $16,000 CDN dollars. People who buy em in the US are seriously getting ripped off. They're NOT worth $70,000, and people who pay that much for one are either a) wealthy, and don't care they're paying way to much for the car, or b) going into debt for the car, but don't care because its a skyline.

Thats because major adjustments need to be done to them just to make them street legal.

Prior to "The Fast and the Furious" you could pick up a GTR in Japan for 30k-50k.

tranza 10-21-2005 09:02 AM

Whenever I see your sig I cannot think about anything else.

What was the question again?

Luckly, living in Canada, we don't have to adjust anything on the car. As long as you can prove its 15 years to the month of manufacture or older, you can import it without restrictions, which is why in the last few years, there's been a massive surge of cars being imported from Japan. All the desireable ones that were never sold in north america (and some that where, only crapped down for north american buyers). S13 Silvias, 2nd gen rx7's, gtr's, gts-t's, gts4's, you name it, they're being imported here.

Edit: Tons of european cars as well. Lancia's, BMW's, Lotus's, pretty much anything, even a Ladda or two :1orglaugh

$28k gets you a fully loaded 2006 Honda Accord, 5 Spd, with their "racing" package.

It's a pretty fast and sweet car... Not bad for $28k....
