Is it legal to buy domains and then just sit on them? for instance
[soulbrains.net] [nwpunk.com] [socalsoftcore.com] [spockrock.com] are just being redirect to netjester.com I heard it was illegal for companies to just buy up domains and then sit on them and do nothing. I know there are several companies that do this as their business model like afternic.com but is it legal? |
Fuck, better be. I have many names I am just sitting on.

awww ok makes sense. Thanks for the help :)

One RIGHT way to do this is buy typos of new sites released by programs. If the surfer screws up on the spelling they go to your type which redirects them to that site......with your ref ID of course :)

We have been buying domains since 1995 and sit on tons, not a problem ever unless you are violating someones trademark.
