Photoshop Gurus... simple question..
 

Using CS2..
If I open a certain picture in PS CS2.. the image colors are more green than if I open it in ImageReady.. Windows Picture Viewer and Paint Shop pro ( all three show the picture identically)... why is that?

This is fresh untampered with install of CS2.

I have noticed the same thing with CS2 also.
Basically in summary its a piece of shit color management system that wants to work with color in a variety of different methods depending on the source of the photo or art work.

Essentially ya might wanna look at preferences>Color Management and set color management to Monitor RGB or somthing.

I gave up on CS2, the color management is a piece of shit and always changes on you interrupting work flow if you are not careful about the color management of the source files.

After thats every document you open ya will get a box that asks you about using some fucked up color prefence.

funny ImageReady shows the pic just fine without all that.
