No offense - but if you think an oscar winning actor/actress makes a good movie then i'd hate to see your top ten list of movies.

They may not be highly acclaimed actors or actresses BUT they do a fantastic job in this movie and the sequel. It's a kiwi film made on a small budget and it's kick ass. No explosions or people jumping off of 50 story buildings and dusting themselves off.

You expect to see big name Hollywood actors in a movie made in New Zealand about maoris? Yeah, Leonardo DiCaprio would have made a perfect maori. You're an idiot.

No the best but good enough compared to other films on the same genre.

Another good New Zealand movie is Whale Rider. And no, it's not a porno about a guy that likes to bang fat chicks. ;)
