Back in high school a buddy of mine's dad owned a car dealership. Among other brands they were a Yugo dealer. They bought the remaining stock of domestic Yugos when it was announced that they were no longer for sale in the US.

In our town the average high school kid had a BMW or Mercedes, but when our friend's dad got this huge allotment of Yugos he sold them cheap. $1995.00 brand new out the door.

Needless to say a lot of young folks picked these cars up because they were literally dispoable.

Someone made his into a Yugo with Gullwing doors. It was phenomenal.

These cars were a total joke a bunch of people had them and intentionally destroyed them.

Hilarious stuff.
