As long as he is pushing your site with the content inside then I dont see the problem. AVS traffic is the best you can get.

YARGH! I agree, it's shady but a pretty good trick, as AVS traffic usually upsells pretty well. Did I mention I own an AVS :) Seriously though Sam, if you don't like it, it's your site, let him know.

Yeah, you did jump the gun a little fast. Carol has been in this business probably before you were even born, she knows a thing or two about cross marketing.

Regardless if shes been in business 1 year or 20 years... if someone is going to use my content as a selling point in any way to sign up for THEIR members area.. it is a valid cause for concern. like i said though, i'm leaving it up :thumbsup
