A little more about NOFX
 

I am seeing and getting mixed reviews. It seems NOFX has his haters and also has people who like him.

We've done biz with him for a long time, and we also know him on a personal level. This is also about helping him grow and open his eyes to the negativity to his actions. I can say that NOFX is personally hurt that people look at him this way. He is not a crazed lunatic what so ever, he is a very smart kid with a lot of promise. He just likes to push buttons to get a reaction. Was a lot of what he's done right, no, but is it worth casting him off and leaving him for dead... no.

If you knew him on a personal level you'd know he works as hard as anyone out there, and also knows he a very smart kid. We are trying to help him along and help him learn that his actions are not always going to have the reaction he wants, and that they can also have a negative affect on those around him.

At the end of the day, we hired him because he is smart and also to help him grow as a person. He does feel bad for the negative outlook this has brought onto AMC. And he would step down from his position with us if he felt it was going to hurt us big time in the long run.

We've all done things we've regretted in the past. All we ask is you get to know him past the person trying to get a reaction on GFY and you may see something totally different.

In the past 2-3 years, he "exterminated" his business image. I don't give a fuck that he's an angel in real life, I would never do business with that guy (Now including Adult Mega Cash). And your so called "business" decision is yours, but keep in mind that it was a very bad one.

All publicity is good publicity? No. This is the perfect example.

The old Adult Mega Cash was run by great people!!

They would never let someone like this tarnish their reputation.

NOFX is all about spreading hate.. You think he is pushing buttons to get a reaction? all of this stems from the true charachter beneath. Each joke has a bit of truth that comes from the sender.

I've known nofx since 2002, before I ever read his threads on GFY... his threads didnt change my opinion about him because I knew he was just fucking around, but a lot of people dont have the brain capacity to understand this it seems.

and if they want to try to defend themselves and tell me their intelligent, not buying it.. what I see is these people on guard 24/7 just waiting for an oppurtunity to voice their opinion and expect everyone to say "you know what... your right, this guy should be banned and hell, why stop there? lets just ban every single asshole who pisses us off.. but hey, why stop at just boards.. lets put them in prison too for excercising free speech"

AMC is still the same as when it started. There is not a new and old AMC. It's just a company trying to grow.

We made a decision to work with someone smart, and we knew we'd take some heat. NOFX has his problems, and if we can help him see things different and help out someone we consider a friend then we are going to. Just because someone makes mistakes, or does things to get a rise out of people does not mean they should be cast out of the entire industry. There are many people posting on this board who have done things they probably should not have, but they are still people we do biz with. NOFX is a friend who we wanted to help out, and we think there is nothing wrong with helping a friend learn and grow.

He did expect it, and he knew people would react this way, he is more hurt that people won't actually get to know him past the board persona and see he is very different then his posts to get a rise out of people.

There is defilitely a fine line that should not be crossed! This is a REAL business not games as most webmasters want to believe. We need to act like we are running a real business in order to succeed. If you want to practice free speech the WEB is a great place to set up your site and go for it. This is supposed to be a forum for real people doing real business in adult

I think you would have fared better by keeping him a "silent employee". Some people aren't exactly made out to be "public relations".

But you're right, a lot of people do fuck up and make mistakes. After they get called on it the first time, they apologize and do their best to correct their behavior. You can't just expect people to forgive this guy and rush to his side and "conduct business" after his months and months of pissing people off, thats just naive. He has been a pest to this board and has shown no regard for anyone but himself. If he does feel hurt and bad like you say he does, then I'm sure he'll post a public apology and start contributing to this community instead of taking away from it.

I don't care either way, he isn't stopping me or convincing me to send traffic to AMC, but this is all stuff you guys should have expected.

I wonder if AMC didn't really hire, just gave him some $ to say he is working for them. Thats a great plug for a day or two. AMC, if you got all this attention for $100... congrats, nice move. If you really did hire him...

Whether what he posts is a joke or not, it is uncalled for. Praising terrorism, wishing for millions of deaths on the US, and eating baby fetuses doesn't exactly make me chuckle. Either way, you made the decision for a reason and I hope it works out for you. Perhaps the people who will not sign up will be outdone by the people that will over this announcement. I personally would not be an affiliate for a site that used those business tactics. It's too bad too, it looks like you guys have some great sites.

NOFX really shines BEFORE he is fucking the corpses of burnt up jews but just AFTER he is slowly ripping the flesh off of a wounded police officer in front of his children. If you get him at other times I can see how you might think he was kind of grumpy or edgy.

By no means am i saying fire the guy. I am saying if he is working for you he needs to have some tact! Everyone deserves a second chance in my book.

He just has to learn you do NOT have to act in order to get what you want or to get recognition. In the long run he is offending people and they will just not do business with you. This is simply a damage-control thread by AMC, who is shocked that there are already a dozen affiliates that have stated publically they're dropping support of his program due to nofx's hiring. Not sure what he expected, next time perhaps he'll do a little more background checking before simply pulling the trigger on a schizophrenic sociopath.

Keep both threads alive, every affiliate deserves to know exactly what they're promoting when they promote AMC.

Mistakes? He got banned many times because he crossed the line. And he never apologized. You are defending someone who clearly does not give a fuck about morality. Bottom Line: Is nofx the best person that could have filled that spot? The most qualified? The best to represent your company as a public face, someone who is legitimately respected by the industry and who will bring a positive light to AMC's future growth?

If AMC still answers "yes" to each of those questions after being exposed to nofx's history of incredibly juvenile and ridiculous posts, then they aren't someone I'd care to do business with.

I don't know, I really think you'd have find thousands of guys with the same or even more skills and not hated by most people in this board. At the same time, people that could be working with you has a lot of choices to pick, and if they're faced with someone with this reputation I highly doubt they will choose you. i hope that what he brings to the table is really, really big, because it seems you've done one of the worse moves in many many time :(

Personally, I don't work with you, and quite honestly I wasn't aware of your existence, which is not weird since we don't use cam sponsors, but I know for a fact knowing the board "persona" of this kiddo, I wouldn't work with you no matter what. Best of luck with the decision. I'm all about giving people a change, and trying to increase the bottom line. If NOFX can do this, then you ended up hiring the right guy. If not, cut the losses, move on and learn from it.
