Everyone claims that exclusive works killer.. I agree and dissagree.

How can we prove this because when a newbie comes in with his plastic, it was cause of the exclusive he saw..He has never even seen anything else and basically just signed up for this teen site thats full of content thats everywhere else.(HOW the hell does he know whether it's exclusive or not??.. Now if this guy has been at the hun and al4a all day then i can see whyand would make sense cause the site had pics on the tour he has never seen..

The way I look at it is the guys who have been surfing a long time and jerking off to the hun are the ones your gonna grab with exclusive content sites..

To me the most important use that comes out of exclusive is when you offer it to your webmasters to promote you..

The new kids on the block who just came in are not gonna know the differece for anything..

I think Video feeds and video in general have more of a impact on the site then just exclusive..

Exclusive is worth the $ IMHO.

BUT, exclusive shit is still shit, so quality, originality, and exclusivity all play an important role.

The problem with exclusive is simple.
What are people willing to pay for it?

We will buy a digital camera soon. It has to be the Nikon D1X as we need to shoot top quality with it. so it's a big investment.

We thought that when we shoot a "digital day", we do 6-7 sets in a day and sell one off exclusive $3-400. The buyer gets get to pick which one from the days work.
Can be for a paysite or Content Provider their decision.

We got no replies.

Had an email from a guy wanted 5 exclusive sets of a girl. We quoted $1200. No reply

WHAT ARE PEOPLE WILLING TO PAY FOR IT?

We pay through the nose for it, no shit. We not only need exclusive sets, but we also need a very specific type of model, not just any cute 18 year old will cut it for us.
Most people who go the exclusive route shoot their own, which is what where getting set up to do now.
After the initial outlay for equipment, it becomes much more cost effective.

Great site your only problem could be finding enough young girls with big boobs like on your front page.
It looks like it's been shot by a lot of different photographers. Thats because these girls are not exactly "thick on the ground".
We've been here in Czech 4 years and I think we shot about 8 of these kind of girls.

Sites like Deepthroat.com are always going to make money.
It looks real, the surfer relates to it and it's what I said as well as her performing she's bringing in her friends. Great site and will always make money. My only complaint and it's very small is pity about the plastic boobs.

You do not need a fancy design if you have what the surfer wants. An understanding of his needs.

Designers, think about what you are selling before you try to impress the surfer with yet another fancy design.

keep it simple i think. some exclusive content augmented by purchased content? with good tour pages to draw in surfers.

I'm kinda of the opinion that there are many different desires to be filled out there.

There are some people searching for specific niche desires, they have particular tastes and they are not satisfied till it is fulfilled. This group seems to jump around a bit less.

There are some out there who, as someone said "fall in love" with a specific exclusive girl. They sign up wanting to see more of her get more info on her...they seem to get into a fantasy of actually meeting or interacting with the girl. They leave as soon as that proves untrue or not possible.

There are some who seem to be attracted to certain tight knit communities. Adult webmasters rarely deal with a whole lot of this I think because the niche is hard to replicate and takes alot of time to provide this illusion, and the surfer usually sees right thru it. nakkidnerds.com and suicidegirls.com would be examples of these. Although I think Danni does a great job of this, she's in a unique position.

then I think there is the general porn people who just want tons or porn. they seem to jump around alot in search of the best megasite.

There are many groups out there, many markets to tap. I think the main trick is to look at what is working well for others. What are others doing along the same lines as you intend to? What will set you apart from them and what strong points do they have and how can they be improved upon. What level of exclusivity is within your means to provide.


It pains me to see so many webmasters buying up a bit of content , hastily throwing together a tour , and calling it macaroni. Have everything planned out from the beginning. HEck plan on being around awhile. Get some branding down. There is much to be said for originality and exclusivity, but those points alone do not make or break the bank. Many a great Idea has been squandering with bad marketing. And much hard work marketing has been wasted on lame ideas.

No put up a site, based on what you understand/like. There are way to many webmasters putting up websites on a genre they have little or no understanding of. Then asking why they are not making money.

You cant judge people by what they post.. Reading a post and meeting that person are 2 different worlds..
