    CS2 Lag. Any recommendations?

Just installed CS2 and this is version is 10x slower than CS. The lag times are horrible, especially with working with full RAW 16bit Images...

Besides upgrading RAM and the usual, what else can I do?

I've tried to cut my computer processes down, ran the spyware programs etc.

Is there anything in CS2 that I can change to help it flow smoother? less lag?

    Werd.

I went back to CS because CS2 was crashing my computer. While they made some awesome new tools, its not worth the time waiting, crashing and restarting to use it.. damn buggy shit.

Yea i'm on CS right now, fuck CS2 right now... If I need the new tools, i'll use CS2 to do it, then switch back to CS.

People need to understand that a lot of the speed photoshop gets is from the scratch disk. I have cs2 loaded on it's own hard drive and thats the only thing on it besides the OS. I have all other programs on another hd. I use the main hardrive as the main scratch disk and an external hd for the backup.

Then again I am on a G5 mac.
