TheJimmy 10-18-2005 08:46 AM

No you aren't I'm about to get back into grad studies myself...

Cheers to insanity! :) :thumbsup

Screaming 10-18-2005 08:48 AM

hell no hun go and get it why not do it

strobi 10-18-2005 08:50 AM

What masters are you getting? Go for it!

candyflip 10-18-2005 09:04 AM

I started back a few years ago and quickly lost interest. I'm tired of studying science.

I'm contemplating going back for another Bachelor's in Digital Filmmaking.

Chris E 10-18-2005 09:20 AM

Where and what in? I'm just typing up my MBA dissertation.

Education is never a bad thing. If it's something you really want to do for yourself, go for it!

lisa k 10-18-2005 10:03 AM

Absolutely do it! Educating yourself is never crazy ;)

My advice, don't go to school for that, buy a few books and learn it on your own. Thats what I did and I could stump most "experts" now.

Sarah_Jayne 10-18-2005 10:41 AM

It has been two years now since I finished my degree and I needed a break but I think I could just about go back to it. My brain has rested..lol.

I have a double major honours degree in sociology and politics. I am considering expanding the sociology side and doing the course work they have about sexuality and that sort of thing. It will help the book I am working on a bit (and kick my ass to get me into structured writing again) and hopefully help me if for some reason I ever want a job outside of this (though I really don't see that for many years). However, I would also love to bulk out the politics side of what I have too. Either one would let me teach if I really had to (god no).

I would take a foundation course first that would qualify for both anyway so it gives me some time to think.

Yes, too many business oportunities are out there to be used, instead of wasting your time on studying, but do whatever makes you happy. :thumbsup :2 cents:

LittleSassy 10-18-2005 10:58 AM

you're not crazy...im planning to get one myself too. :thumbsup

good luck sarah

Maybe going to school and studying, *does* make her happy? Believe it or not, some people enjoy it. I love/d college.

Ace-wtf 10-18-2005 11:24 AM

why not?
if it tickles your mind go for it

Swappernet 10-18-2005 11:27 AM

I have a friend who is taking the online MBA course at the University of Liverpool and she said she loves it although it is tough but it is flexible so she can work FT and she said it is the same degree as those who actually attended the University and that she even gets to attend her graduation there. Sounds like a sales pitch lol but I was just talking to her like 5 min ago and after reading your post thought it may be something interesting to share :)

sweetcuties 10-18-2005 11:31 AM

Nice, do it... I don't have the desire to get my Masters

cool1 10-18-2005 11:35 AM

sarah go for it.
It is never to late to get that masters, although it is a lot of work.

Aly 10-18-2005 11:40 AM

When you're 83 years old and looking back on your life you're probably going to regret the things you DIDN'T do.

DO IT. :thumbsup

ShaneRyale 10-18-2005 12:08 PM

I'll finish my MBA in a few months, then onto my Doctorate. Education is with you forever, and I find the graduate work has much more application possibilities than the undergrad. You can't go wrong with a Graduate Degree.

Sosa 10-18-2005 12:12 PM

Go for it if that is what you want.

Drake 10-18-2005 12:15 PM

Only if you have the time to devote to it

MindyBlingBucks 10-18-2005 12:20 PM

If you want to, and you think you're ready for it (after the rest) go for it!! I'll be cheering you on!

Nismo 10-18-2005 02:13 PM

I'm going back after 4 years. Totally love the atmosphere and the girls.

reynold 10-18-2005 10:40 PM

There's nothing insane about your plan girl. Time and financial aspect are the things you should consider anyway.

Sarah_Jayne 10-19-2005 03:27 AM

Well, I bit the bullet and registered today. Classes start in May which gives me a nice time to relax a bit and finish up some site projects before hand.
