Quake 4 Release TODAY !!
 

Is anyone else picking it up ?? I ordered a copy from Gamestop.com, so it should be getting delivered in the next couple of hours, I can't wait :)

ah shit i forgot to pre-order.. had it up on the screen but forgot my new cc expiry when i went to buy.. then must have restarted and forgot..

I can't wait to play it, also getting F.E.A.R. which should be excellent

That was fast. Wonder if its any good.

Yeah, the game just kinda seemed to sneak out. Usually when a big game comes out, you hear about it everywhere months in advance which makes you sit there and drool over it all that time. I placed mine on order a couple of months ago and kinda forgot about it since I haven't heard much about it. It took an email from Gamestop to let me know that they shipped it to refresh my memory :)

The game looks pretty intense, I can't wait for it to get here. For those of you that haven't seen the trailer yet, here's they are -

I actually considered getting F.E.A.R. but figured that with Quake 4 out, I'd give that my 100% gaming attention :)

The reviews for Quake 4 are bad.

Oh yeah, that's another hot game that I forgot about.

Its done by Raven, not iD. Raven has done good games but i dont see it being the same as any other quake games.

I guess in a way, that is kinda bad because a game like Quake 4, you'd expect that to be in the 9.0+ range to be great.

Age of empires 3 is cool but doesnt have alot of content or good gameplay.

I just looked at the F.E.A.R. review over at IGN and it's exactly what I was talking about, 9.2 IGN rating, 8.8 user rating, maybe I should've got that one -

Then again, it's Quake 4, it's an essential game for a collection :)

quake 4 is only going to submerge people further into their hermit ways.
quake 3 stole years from people I know. Literally YEARS.
anyone ever play virtual vixens .. like back in win3.11 days.. haha
