Selling my Civic Type R

If you are in the UK and interested I'm selling my 2003 Reg 53 Civic Type-R (200 BHP). A real amazing car, I love it, but need to move forward, maybe a 911 this time :pimp
Had Only 8.5k miles, with A/C and Navigation system.

I'm still thinking about it :pimp
It will be between the 911, the M5 or the Evo9. Once I sell the Type-R I'll go for a test drive on each and see what makes me more happy :thumbsup

Id do that yes, cause a 911 (or 993 now) isnt even close to the others. Its a sportscar pur sang. Zero space for stuff. Not a car to shop with or even try to pick up a 6 pack. Dont get my wrong theyre great, just not a car to use every day.

And if you do want that, at least get a tiptronic. Driving slowly with a 911 is hell.

EroticySteve 10-18-2005 06:31 AM

The steering wheel is on the wrong side. :)

gecko 10-18-2005 06:34 AM

adi--we have had these discussions---911--don't even consider anything else--nothing is made better for the money--i bought mine new 10 years ago and I just broke 50k miles and she still looks brand new--no one can ever believe in a few months its 11 years old

I find space to get what i need,,there is a small trunk in the front of the car and it even fits golf clubs and because there is a back seat u would be surprised how much u can fit in there

Hi Hawi,
We talked about it already, but you need to test drive the M5 or the Evo9 to make your mind, they are amazing :winkwink:

It is a great one, but I think that the M5, the 911 or the Evo9 will make me smile more, I love speed and they can deliver more then the Type-R :winkwink:

Manowar 10-18-2005 12:08 PM

the M5 is an intense car but you will probably have to wait a while to get your hands on one

i'd say go with the 911

In London I can get my hands on a brand new M5 tomorrow :)
It will cost me about £5k over the market price, but it is not a problem to get one :pimp

I highly doubt they could ever compare with a 911. No matter how old she gets it never gets dull. To be honest I would never trade in my old one for a new one.. A 911 is an investment in car hapiness. Once u get it you will never have the desire to ever trade it in for anything else and if you do you will always regret it.

BTW--porsche used to run commercials that said "the 911 sticks to the road like peanut butter to top of your mouth" and dude its true. There is nothing like a exit ramp at 90mph to 100mph and excellirating though the turns while down shifting!!!

I know, and yet, the Evo8 FQ400 was the same price as an M5.
Any way it is not about the money it's about what make you feel happier :)

If the Evo9 will give me more joy at the test drive then the M5 or the 911, I guess I'll take it :pimp

Go for the M5... my mates got one and it rocks! Jeremy Clarkson jizzed over it on Top Gear (a TV show about cars not drugs for our N American friends) also.
