PR7 for a 1 page site I never promoted
For some reason one of my domain landing pages has a PR7. I don't know of any sites linking to it, nor did I optimize any text or elements of the site. :1orglaugh Link outs, here I come :1orglaugh :pimp

Well that's what my Google toolbar says. Also, I checked it with http://www.pagerank.net/pagerank-checker/ Same PR score. I've had this domain/page for over 3 years. I'm not sure when I got that ranking. Pleasant surprise though. I've almost forgotten about it since I have over 200 domains. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
to catch PR7 from a few blog backlinks, the blogs would need to be PR9-10.. unlikely. Not that google scores from this, but do a linkdomain:yoursite.com in yahoo, it shows a lot more backlinks than google's broken tool. also check it out in urltrends.com, it'll show an alexa/google/yahoo backlinks count.

Hey, man, I was just asking a question. I am not sporting a sig so I'm not promoting anything for page views. I just wanted to know if anyone else experience this. And maybe possible explanation. |
