Is $50K too little to pay a site rep?

If a program is going to send someone to attend tradeshows and meets, is $50K okay or is it too little? Assume the person in question has a track record with closing deals.

You don't know what a closer is worth. You must be thinking of a two bit board rep....

$50K plus travel allowance, meal expenses, bonuses, etc. Still too low? MUST % be added to the mix?

Since total benefits package is probably over 100K, would it be fair to start incentive % system if the guy/gal closes conversion deals that equal $500K or more or is that too low of an initial base?

You're talking a mover and shaker a real deal closer right? Pay all expenses and a generous %. If they are as good as they claim they are, they don't need a massive chunk up front.
