New Service 4 webmasters - FreeSitesGenerator.com
www.freesitesgenerator.com
I've just launched a new service for webmasters. Now you all can generate Free Sites for upload them to Link Lists. They are optimized to be accepted, following all rules. It's completelly free. You only have to sign up, and then, you will be able to start creating sites. Of course, I'm still at the test period, so if you find any bug, I would like you to email me and let me know about it. Hope you can enjoy it. Dandy |
Nice Site, huh?

Looks good, congrats. Don't let the haters and trolls get you down though

I'll have a peek.
|

"Now you all can generate Free Sites for upload them to Link Lists."
Since when do you make freesites for upload them to link lists? How come I miss all the hype, last thing was to submit sites now we are supposed to upload them instead??? |

Sample:
http://www.freesitesgenerator.com/freesite_61.zip I've created that site in 1 minute! Sorry about my first post! I didn't mean "upload", but submit. |
I think you should rethink some of the layouts, and keep expanding it's capabilities.
While it might seem logical to put the site name on top, the top section of every page is *always* the most clicked spot. You should always, without fail, place an advertisement on top of every page. You can easily place the site title below the top ad. Also, odd banners, buttons, logo's along with text in each ad should be an option. You should also be able to include links to your own pages and not just sponsors. If you're using static whole-page templates like: sitename banner warning enter banner then you better make about 30 different ones for each page to be safe.. A more flexible route would be to allow the person to select an "element" (ie:horiz banner w/text) and place it on the page.. So you'd have multiple element templates instead of whole pages templated. It's a decent start I would say. |
Thanks Tom! That's what I need to improve the service: advices.
Most of people is just limited to complain about it. The idea es to finaly give the users all that options you say. Of course, It will be template managed. But I'm still at the test period, so I will not add templates if tyhe first one does not work. :winkwink: I will soon add more structure and color templates. Quote:
About the last you said, I think if I give the user the hole page templates would be easier for everyone. If I give too much options, I think it would be annoying. Thanks again for your advices! |
I do basically the same thing with Arles. Only I have about 30 templates I've made over the years and I don't have to use some silly online program. :)
|
Yeah, but if you give them whole page templates, then you need a large variety of layouts. I'd say minimum of 30. One for each day of a month, so that link lists dont reject them as "templates".
I have my own scripts for this sort of thing, so I know it can get complex to add the variety you truly need. |
See? 30 templates is a common number. Now, imagine you have 50 people using your service and making free sites. You obviously will have duplicate looking sites even with 30 templates and various colors.. It's longer term thinking to use page elements eventually, but as I say it gets complicated.

Please, send me your templates to [email protected]
I would be so happry if you help me build a good service! I repeat: I've just launched it, so try not to drown me with your critics! |
