Can ccbill close your webmaster account for inactivity while you have a referral

I just thought of the fact that over 1 year ago ccbill closed my webmaster account for inactivity while under that same account i referred a person who's grossing quite a lot per month
I didnt get paid for that for over a year.

I think the referral payout is 1% so i easily lost 4 or 5k because of this.

This isnt right right?

seeric 10-17-2005 04:13 PM

you have another epass present mr. franck from ragecash. please check your account.

Dirty F 10-17-2005 04:14 PM

Wootwoot, thanks Airek!

Manowar 10-17-2005 04:15 PM

I sent a couple of random sales to ccbill sponsors every month or so, my referrals make me more than i do.

i prefer sponsors who use their own backend

StuartD 10-17-2005 04:15 PM

ccbill doesn't put a lot of concern into referal accounts.

ccbill won't even pay out on your referals unless you are sending sales yourself as well anyway.

Uhm, well im sending sales to other sites.

Anyway, i mailed them. It's kinda confusing.

Dirty F 10-17-2005 04:43 PM

Well, they replied fucking fast, i have to compliment them on that.

Referral % is just 0.25. I recall it being 1% in the past or am i wrong?
They can set it up again on my new account but they wont give me the money i lost. Still over 1k. Wtf? Why the hell wouldnt i get money for someone i referred?

Dirty F 10-17-2005 04:45 PM

Fucking smart ass who replied to my mail btw.

The site owner has it, just email him, if he is nice, he will pay you the owed money.

Franck,
Please contact me to discuss this.

Head Hunter,
This is a separate issue from the affiliate program. Please contact me so I can help clear up any confusion.

There seems to be a lot of confusion in this thread. If anyone has any questions about CCBill, please speak with our Client Support staff. We are available 24/7/365.

Bill, for those of us not promoting CCBill at any volume, but now won't because of this thread.. why don't you clear it up in the thread? I've no inclination to speak with your Client Support via e-mail.

CCBill cancels accounts for being inactive?

Rictor 10-17-2005 07:18 PM

The original poster is talking about referring another paysite company to CCBill, I believe, not another affiliate. I guess you get a percentage of their sales of you refer another company?

As a regular maintenance function in our system, we purge accounts that have a lack of transaction and signup form click activity. To be clear on this, this is voluntary, we communicate this very clearly with our Clients, in the case of subaccounts, it is a simple task to get reactivated. We do what we have to to feel comfortable that the accounts we inactivate, the webmaster no longer has any interest with.

We do this to reduce the maintenance cost of keeping dead accounts active?ie to lower the number of accounts that the CCBill Policy Review Department has to regularly review, as one example

Franck,

I am sure that if you clearly communicated that you were not getting paid on referrals, we would have made sure that you were taken care of?whatever was happening, I am not sure of the details, but it would take only a glance to determine what happened and the best course of action.
