Less Downtime = More Revenue!

How many of you have to warn your provider when your server is down?
Allthough the provider should know this before you do....often it's not the case.
valuable time is lost between a server is down before it's recovered.

ProActive Monitoring is the solution....and http://www.servergenius.com
offers it to anyone with a dedicated server. As a stand alone service or
included in the unlimited unix admin service.

All critical services on your server get polled every 5 minutes to check if they
work the way they should do. In case of any error the system will report
you/your admin/your provider or me :upsidedow by email, sms or pager
with a brief description of the error. It also alerts according our profile when
the service is back up.

Take back control of your server/network performance and increase your
uptime and revenue with this valuable service.

yes and then you have to pay per service monitored. I monitor unlimited
services / ports for a flat rate server price.

ssh, ssl, mysql, apache, ftp, sendmail, pop3, imap, dns, etc, etc, etc for 1
price. :winkwink:

ok...so what if you use http serving php pages with mysql and mysql is down?
http is still up and will respond......but your site won't show.

What's the point of monitoring from 15 different locations? If it's up from 1
it will be up at 15.....unless a network is down....which why we monitor
from a multihomed location.

I'm not trying to convince you....if you're happy with the service you got....
then keep using it.....

if it's not broken don't fix it. :thumbsup

Boy from some of your recent posts it seems that you really do not like webair, or had some major downtime with webair?..

Anyway a morning bump for DynaSpain :)
