The civic is almost done!
Yesterday I got an extremely good deal, my neighbour was putting his winter tires on early, and was looking for someone to buy his mags and tires since he's changing car next year, so he offered to give them to me for $150, for te mags plus 6 tires, so i coldn't say no, anyways, the car is almost done, just need to put on the amber flashers, hood, and chance one last wheel bushing we didn't know needed replacing until we took a small drive with it!

It's clean, but it would look so much better if it didn't have those cheap walmart rims on there.
you should post the before pics too!
before pics
www.supershaun.com/newcar during pics www.supershaun.com/index2.htm and Nismo, like I said, those rims plus 6 Toyo tires only cost me $150, plus the tires that came with the car, 2 of them were litterally sitting on the steel belts, so for the time being, they are saying on, but 16" will be a bumpy ride |

Unfortunately, the other link aint working. |
Dont want to burst your bubble bud but that is just a hunk of shit.
sorry, hte link is
www.supershaun.com/newcar/index2.htm and martin, sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't care, I didn't build this car for a show car, not everyone can afford a 60 thousand dollar car, or take their parents car. we're doing this as a hobby cause it's something I like doing |
Really big improvement, nice job.
I don't know if you've noticed, but i think you're missing a hood!
hit me up if you need some graphics or a wrap for it.
looks pretty good :thumbsup
the hood is still on primer, the hood was rotten as you can see here
http://supershaun.com/newcar/index.htm but put on some fiberglass for fun cause I wanted to see how it would end up looking, seeing as this was a project, so might as well try, and for now, it looks pretty decent, I was even getting ready to cut out a hole on the front for an air scoop and trying to shave it seamlessly into the hood, but since I'm sticking with this hood for now, i'm not putting it in |
what a pimp my ride experience.

as much as some of you like to make fun of civic's ... there's a reason
why you still see a shit load of them from the 80's and even some from the 70's on the road still . You don't see a shit load of crappy American cars from the 80's on the road you don't even see them in the junkyard they just cease to exist ... :2 cents: |
I'm gonna need new damn tires soon...
Civics last a long ass time, so do chevy trucks. I still got mine with 177,000 miles on it! damn thing won't die!
still looks like a civic

News flash: In the 1970's and 1980's "Made in Japan" was synonmous for crap. You didn't start seeing higher build quality until the late 80's. :2 cents: |
