Freehost admins - warez problem?
 

Hello,

This is not spamming but rather a serious problem with freehosts and warez:

I recently opened a freehost and I have been encountering many bogus accounts (mainly from asian IP's) being created massively. Some of these accounts remain empty but most of them get filled with heaps of .gif files (60-80kb each) and every "gallery" takes up about 30-100mb in size. When I open any gif file, I see a small image that says "Graph" on it or sometimes a small image with an oriental letter in it. Obviously, the pic wouldn't not take up 70kb in size. Each account usually contains one html file. The html file has numbered links (e.g. 1 - 300) that point to these .gif files. Despite of all these reasons, I concluded that these accounts are bogus and contain warez.

I recently deleted accounts in total of 3gig of bogus data (seems like bogus for me) and I keep deleting them every day. Some accounts had 400-600mb of those bogus files.

Lastly, the people that create these accounts use different information and IP's so it is impossible to ban them.

Does anybody know what it is? Where do these people come from? Is that a new technique of distributing warez? How do you handle it?
