this is an odd pairing indeed. tough to tell. Tyson is def known world over. Slash prob is too. especially because of the name and top hat thing. As much as I love Slash's playing I would have to say Tyson. Even my grandfather knows Tyson. He has no clue who Slash is.

This isn't even close. Maybe 5 percent of the world population would know Slash compared to Mike Tyson.

not even close - Tyson is known worldwide - from the Arctic to Africa - people of every age, both genders.

most people over the age of 40 wouldn't know who Slash is if they walked smack into him at the mall. kids under 20 wouldn't know who he is.

for someone like me, who is obsessed with music, Slash by a long shot. But think about anyone over, say, 50 years old and they wouldn't have a clue who Slash is, but would still know Tyson. So, yea, Tyson.
