Im roughly at 1:8000 with ccbill

Im not promoting sponsors using ccbill much these days. This is from a few sponsors combined.

Isnt it crazy?

adultchica 10-14-2005 10:51 AM

I will not promote any programs anymore that use the ccbill affiliate program!

alias 10-14-2005 10:52 AM

that is fucking bullshit man! . ..damn keep us posted

Gasper 10-14-2005 10:52 AM

thats crazy frank.. what the heck kind of niches and traffic would that be?

one thing that you all need to remember is that the ccbill programs will show you the first page raw numbers, not the second page unique that most other programs do.. aka a 1:1000 at a ccbill program might be as good as a 1:250 at another program.. not an excuse, but some programs will even give out their per join page ratioes to make them look good...

my sites are doing great so no reason at all not to push my ccbill affiliate program

Dirty F 10-14-2005 10:56 AM

This is traffic from blogs, tgp, free sites and even SE.

Jer 10-14-2005 10:56 AM

Damn! :(

Jensen 10-14-2005 10:58 AM

no way you would do 0:8000 with that kind of traffic.. that just sounds fishy

cranki 10-14-2005 11:01 AM

Nasty 10-14-2005 11:01 AM

heheh, no shit, I am right there with you, 1 in 6000 off of mostly seo traffic, thats across 3 ccbill accounts that are all about the same, from 1 in 4k to 1 in 8k

according to my stats remote, over the past 12 months, my ccbill conversions have slowly gone from 1/600 to 1/6000 at a somewhat consistent pace

I only send about 5k a day to ccbill sponsors these days but I actually went 3 days witout a single sale or rebill last week, fucking crazy

pornstar2pac 10-14-2005 11:02 AM

I'm lucky. 1:42

Calvinguy 10-14-2005 11:04 AM

But if a sponsor use ccbill but with their own backend counting 2nd. page uniques making you believe you have great rations when you don't complain?

Cuz I send about 30k a day to sponsors off my network of sites and my revenue is fine on other sponsors, not worth rebuilding old sites to remove ccbill sponsors when my time is better spent building new sites for sponsors that do convert and captitalizing off the traffic of the old sites to the new ones, its just a time issue, I just havent bothered promoting new ccbill sponsors lately

Shoehorn! 10-14-2005 12:01 PM

My ratios are shit too. This week has been horrendous. :helpme

Oedipus 10-14-2005 12:05 PM

For the month of October 1:1247.4; full month of September was 1:1790.7.

nexcom28 10-14-2005 12:14 PM

This month I took a gamble and pushed most of my traffic to one CCbill site I liked the look of and I thought would convert.
The result? 0:3600 before I switched to a different program.

dirtysouth 10-14-2005 12:17 PM

Stopped promoting CCBill sites looong ago. Sucks because there are a shitload of sites I'd like to promote but I can't bear the misery of looking at the horrible ratios. My traffic is by no means golden but it seems to do well elsewhere. :2 cents:

is it me or you guys are out of your minds? I was worried because one of my sponsors went to 1:450 a couple weeks ago! :Oh crap

alan-l 10-14-2005 01:31 PM

btw, we don't promote revshare anymore, but still have some old links here and there and for the month of October we're at 1:305

However, I gotta admit CCBill sales went down the shitter last 3-4 months, I mean for our own sites :( Compared with Paycom, CCBill is doing quite awful

bring back Summer Slowdown :upsidedow

andrej_NDC 10-14-2005 01:41 PM

has nothing to do with ccbill...but with the sponsors/sites

I tried epoch and its even worse, so who do you want to send traffic to?

1:1000
1000 raw hits --> 600 uniques --> 200 2nd page --> 20 join page
So you can see it also as:
1:600
1:200
1:20
depending on how the sponsor counts the clicks

gdog 10-14-2005 01:57 PM

Are we getting screwed over with all the scrubbing these days? Joins are just not what they used to be and CCBill and Epoch control the game pretty much so we are at the mercy of them. I love both companies but is there something going on at the top that they cannot process cards like they used too, are there more restrictions being placed on them to maintain their merchant bank accounts?

G

maxxxxx 10-14-2005 01:58 PM

1:1,800 in September which is about my average.
1:3,000 so far in October... :(

Webby 10-14-2005 02:03 PM

I avoid looking at these stats and pretend they don't exist. Can't remember the exact figure, but was near as damn, just under 3000:1.

Gotta be the worst way to leak traffic ever.

Jensen 10-14-2005 02:46 PM

send your normal traffic to andrej and your fetish traffic to me.. we know our stuff :)

someone, somewhere, is very happy with your traffic

TheJimmy 10-14-2005 02:51 PM

Ok, first off the crew at ccbill/cavecreek rock...

That being said, when did it become UNcommon knowledge that they scrub SUPER HARD on transactions?

I thought this discussion has been had several times over at least by now.

:/

Have you tried switching some hits over to epoch processing to see if it's merely the processing and not an overall traffic issue?

Screaming 10-14-2005 02:53 PM

wow that is nuts

BlackCrayon 10-14-2005 02:54 PM

i think credit cards are getting rejected all over for no good reasons, not just ccbill. i tried signing up to a site with my moms card the other day because my ratios were so terrible and it was declinded. she has perfect credit and the limit on the card is high as fuck. i don't get it really.

potter 10-14-2005 03:01 PM

I only promote ccbill programs (well, besides maybe 1-3 nonccbill).

Here are the first five programs in my list using oct stats.
1:1389.0
1:246.0
1:900.0
1:2527.0
1:141.0

For my part sales/conversions an most non-CCBill sites are normal, or even better than usual. It's only CCBill that really sucks hard. The problem is that my two best selling sites are only offering CCBill, nothing else. :(

Paul&John 10-14-2005 03:13 PM

ccbill sucks big time

Major (Tom) 10-14-2005 03:21 PM

sometimes they scrub harder, as does paycom.. it happens.. it cant be sunny all the time :)
