Got pulled over last night
 

Damn I have not been pulled over in years. Last night after leaving the club I am cruising home and next thing the lights are on behind me. I had some drinks last night but I never really finished any of them.

The only thing that saved my ass was when the officer came up to my window I told him I had seen him back there following me and I had kept my speed at 72, not 80 like he said when he pulled me over. Then he asked me to follow his finger while in the car and I moved my head. So he says get out the car, and we did the same test. Then he handed me back my ID and said have a good night and drive safely.

Thank f'ing goodness but damn, getting pulled over is nerve racking.

It sucks to get pulled over.

What sucks the worst about getting pulled over is that while you're on the side of the road getting ticketed there are people with the same or worse violations driving by saying damn, glad that's not me.

Try to tell a cop you were going with the "flow of traffic".

I tried that once he said to me. "Do you fish?"

I said, "what does fishing have to do with driving?"

He said, "it has nothing to do with driving, it has to do with getting caught"

I said, "i've fished before."

He said, "okay you've got a school of fish under your boat. You have one hook and one piece of bait. You drop it in the water. How many fish are you going to catch?"

I said, "with my luck probably none."

He said, "Alright wise guy, I was trying to make a point. You're going to catch one fish. The rest get away that time. You'll be back for them, and some other dumb fish will land on your hook. One at a time, that's how I do it. Those other cars got away this time, but they are dumb fish. I'll hook them eventually. Sign here and have a good day."

you should have told him to use a net and catch all the fish...there are no dumb fish just dumb fishermen :winkwink:

I dunno. I don't drive drunk. I don't have any warrants for my arrest. And I'm a damn good driver.

When I get pulled over by the cops, usually small talk ensues and I go on my merry way.

if and when you get pulled over. show the man a little respect and courtesy and 9 times out of 10 he will let you off easy.

Yup, that is what it is all about. The thing is I was not drunk at all, but you get nervous as hell and think you might be when this goes down. If I was not respectful he would of given me the speeding ticket, but he was really cool and let me go.

But you don't have t be 'drunk' to be over the limit and have your judgement impaired. You really shouldn't drink and drive.

I got pulled over last night too and got a fucking ticket for 15 over. The second time I've tried to run and hide from a cop and it didn't work last time and didn't work last night either. Fucking prick. :321GFY
