How would you promote college forums?
 

Just wondering how you would do it.

By putting the forums in the serps for searches related to that college. And then running some ads in the local or college papers for each college forum as you hit them up and build them.

The serps grab up lots of targeted traffic for the site and the ads do much the same but also give you long term (school years) worth of branding or visability.

Also collegesucks, collegehumor and the other multitude of college based sites.

I got my start with offline college marketing. Hit me up sometime for tips on how to market to this crowd.

hand out flyers at a campus.. throw a party for promotion like a rave or something
