Wtf!! Yahoo Domains Scam!!!

friggen bought a domain name at yahoo.. fuckers say they cost $2.99
so i enter all the info, give em the payment info.. says confirm order & shows as $2.99-- so i check bank, so see that those yahoo fuckers charged me $5.99 not 2.99 fucking theives!!!!!!!!!!! it's only $2, but what the fuck they lie like that.

That was my initial thought. I was like, hmm, i mustve missed something, so i went back & checked the tos, etc & there isn't anything listed to show me why they charged extra $2. the credit card statement shows $2.99 then 2 additional $1 charges all at the same time by yahoo. i wanted to buy another domain today, now i cant because these fuckers made me $1 short???

khs 10-13-2005 04:22 PM

5.99 - 2.99 = 3.00

elitetec 10-13-2005 05:21 PM

godaddy had some shit $1.99/domain but ya needed to buy something with it - hosting or some service or else it was a charge of $8

kektex 10-13-2005 06:25 PM

I bought a domain at godaddy using that $1.99 promo, bought SMTP Relaying (Look for the catalog link) , and used promo code "david" or "usa6" and got my domain for $4.19
That was on monday, don`t know if it`s still open though.
Also if you do this, remember to cancel recurring charges for the smtp service in your My Account panel, otherwise you`ll get charged next month.
