i dont like how far away the toms are from each other.
i do wnat one to use as a midi trigger. playing horns through a drum trigger is bad ass.

This is definetly the one i'd want, with all mesh pads for the toms.

I do a lot of recording these days and the module that comes with this kit sounds awesome! With other trigger kits I often end up using some other types of samples by time we mix down. The Roland pretty much always stay in the mix. I never use the canned overheads though. They still sound fake in a good mix. We tend to use real cymbals. Live though it is a great way to keep your stage volume under control. I hope you get one.
