That's why I don't have a cat anymore.

Be thankful she didn't dip the fucker in Aunt Jamima's Butter Flavored Syrup. When my 18 yr old was 4, we had two of the most beautiful long haired cats and a Chinese Pug, two brand new bottles of syrup and she was just "feeding them" ........ their hair was in such a mess that it took me 3 hours PER cat to get it off of them. THEN while I was doing that, she went to her room and colored a HUGE life size portrait of herself on her bedroom wall. WHITE wall, with a red crayon......... she nearly died that day.

I had maple syrup in the carpet in that floor for a damn year, we just kept finding the shit everywhere.

I picked at it for awhile and tried to wash it in the tub with shampoo but it didnt help much. Now the cat wont have anything to do with me and it is licking and chewing on it.

The stuff is made for kids so I would hope that it isnt toxic. I guess I will just wait untill the cat calms down and try some more.

Yeah syrup sounds like a hell of a mess.

At least this stuff is only on the cat and is not getting on everything else. :o)

haha Tam,
the portrait story made me laugh....my youngest did the same in our 1/2 bath. I had just finished doing the texture wallpaper job 3 days earlier. She took moms red lipstick, did the artwork, and then came and got me to show off her beautiful sketch. She was so proud of herself. Hard to get mad at them for being kids.

If it gets stuck on any fabric or hair, just soak it in water. In time, the Slime will simply dissolve. Have fun!

This is what it says about getting it out of furniture and hair and such. Maybe it will help a little?

Giving a cat a bath....... whew!!!!!

Helix, mine did the same thing, in the middle of the cat mess she comes and gets my hand and drags me into her room to see that she was sorry and had made me a pretty picture...... she is plum damn evil. lol

LOL

I have already had him in the tub once but it didnt go to well.

Poor thing is only a four month old kitten and has not been in the tub before.
