Looking for cheap virtual hosting
 

dont need much webspace just looking for a cheap virtual hosting account for a certain project...fast and good uptime a must

I think the cheapest you can get is bestgalleryhosting.com, if you don't need to tun scrips (only html, pic, and movi files allowed)

otherwise - exmasters or serverprovider both have around $10.00 a month plans

stay away from dreamhost then :) cheap, but slow, and down quite a bit..

I had 3 accounts with them for the past 2 years.. finally got tired of their crap, and switched... (each account was on a different server)
had an average ping time of over 200ms, down at least once every 2 months for almost an hour...
(excluding their mysql servers which were down even more)

It was hell using them as a gallery server for TGP's, since they kept getting nuked from the archive when the spider could no longer connect.

now I'm with e5hosting, and have ping times of 60ms...

check m3 server they really rock, been there for 2+ yrs and support is amazing
