CCBill paysite owners: How do you track non-affiliate sales?

How do you track your sales from non affiliates? Is there a program out there who takes care of it? Any help in this matter would be appreciated :)

Yeah, but I mean all those sales that come from clean links without trackingcodes. We have our paysite linked from a bunch of places without trackingcode and I would like to see from what pages sales are made. Any program that does this?

reffering url in ccbill works well

High Quality 10-12-2005 03:24 PM

hah, ref url in the ccbill admin.

Thrawn$ 10-12-2005 03:26 PM

you just need to compare the IP of the person who joined with IP in the the log files
or try http://clicktracks.com/

I might be blind and possibly very stupid, but where in the CCBill admin can you see reffering URLs for signups not generated by affiliates?

justsexxx 10-12-2005 03:26 PM

REF urls are shown, even when there was no ID attached to the sale...

Anna_O 10-12-2005 03:30 PM

OK, this is where I can see ref URLs for affiliates: https://webadmin.ccbill.com/affiliat...erringURLs.cgi Could someone post the adress to see ref URLs for non-affiliates? Now I feel really stupid here... :helpme

Violetta 10-12-2005 03:32 PM

just click on the sale!

I disagree

Anna there is no way within ccbill to do it. Myself, I add my own ref code, but obviously that does not work with hard linking

Thank you ;) Then I am not crazy after all and you need a separate program to do it?

Anna_O 10-12-2005 04:02 PM

Seems like none of the above can post a link to the ref urls ;)

Would anyone be interested to buy a program that could take care of this?

If you do not want to use tracking codes, then there is no other way. Imagine linking to paysitedomain.com without anything else...how would you want to track the sales?

Its not about not wanting to use tracking codes. THis person is saying the links are already out there. So... you gotta track joins by IP and check referring URL of that IP.

Anna_O 10-12-2005 04:41 PM

Isn't hardlinks also better for Search Engines? Anyway, we'll try to find a program that can take care of this for us. Thanks for your help :)

In general, if you do not have a tracking code on the link you will not be able to see where the signup came from.
you will always get signups from place that are not tracked, like type ins, SE and so forth.

This is easy task for any programmer to do, I'm no tech junkie myself so I'm short on the details. But I'm able to see where from the sales are coming from in my own admin interface.

I think you can get the necessary data as they hit the landing page, after signing up. Something like that. I can't get hold of my programmer dude right now to ask.
