Very cool and usefull utility
 

I just stumbled on a tool called webdrive. You can mount hdd's of your server
as a network drive to your desktop. That way you can edit/save files directly
from your workstation to your server without use of ftp. You can also transfer
files.

How does it handle ascii vs. binary uploads?

it uses ftp, secure ftp background protocol. It has a lot of options

Looks OK if you have 1 domain... not if you have 50+ to look after.

It's not....you can chose to use secure ftp protocol for the transfers
which uses secure socket layer

Interesting but I can do the same exact thing using the "Webfolders" feature of Win 2k or XP.

Not very useful.
