Been reading the board for months trying get "unnoobed"

Here's da question for yas.

I am wondering if domain names are still a good investment...

Or am I wasting my time and just focus on traffic?

Concentrate on traffic, all the best domains were taken long ago. The only way you can make money from a domain now is by branding it with quality traffic and a decent site. I've bought loads of domains that I have thought were great but the reality is they suck..

domain names are the key and combined with branding will give you a longer company lifecycle. use a good pending delete watcher and you can still score some gems. btw, we are launching a new pending deleted domain watching system this month...
