pornguy 10-12-2005 10:55 AM

I am sure that the next week or so will be dealing with attorneys, and now may be a good time to work the press. Show that the government is trying to violate his rights, and the rights of the people.

Morgan 10-12-2005 10:56 AM

ya, if he does post, i doubt he will be talking much about the situation.

EroticySteve 10-12-2005 11:00 AM

I heard they took all of his PC's so unless he has one gifted to him, I'm sure he'll be less easy to contact.

Larry Walters called in to a Tampa news show this morning. Cleared up some misconceptions and falsehoods about the case.

They charged him individually for each pic or something like that. They were trying to make it harder for him to post bail.

Dalai lama 10-12-2005 11:05 AM

I dont think he will post much about the case at GFY :2 cents:

Why were the pics illegal?

"Chris Wilson, a 27-year-old former policeman from Lakeland, was taken into custody Friday night on one felony and 300 misdemeanor indecency counts unrelated to the grisly pictures from Iraq."

"Indecency counts"? I guess the US military is not someone you want to mess with :)

StudioCash Luke 10-12-2005 11:27 AM

Wow, this is fucked up! Thank the current administration for this.

dynastoned 10-12-2005 11:32 AM

It doesn't seem the military pics were the problem?

Correct... but he recieved 300 "indecency" charges. What were the pictures he was charged for and why? Were the amateur wife/girlfriend pictures illegal for him to have (no 2257) or what?

Huge factor in all this. If not the only factor.

That would be my guess - and it's strictly a guess. From all accounts, the info on the pictures from Iraq were thrown into the reports as attention getters. I haven't seen where he was charged with anything relating to them - or I could be reading it wrong.

TheLegacy 10-12-2005 11:41 AM

I am only guessing but I dont think the government likes the idea of showing the horrors of war in america because it would already push the approval rating further down than what it is already. I noticed that CNN is showing daily new pictures of soldiers who died therefore putting a face to the war.

seeric 10-12-2005 11:46 AM

coming up from sat - monday

wanna party?

Giorgio_Xo 10-12-2005 11:52 AM

When Government fears words and images it has something to hide. When the People, the exclusive owners of this republic, are censored for simply documenting life in Speech and Art, it is the obligation of the People to unleash its furor and destroy those that wish to interfere with our inherent right to Liberty and Choice. We must rise to meet the demons that wish to deny us of our Basic Rights.

of course not, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on and it would bring even more attention to the war.. However if the take him down for porn, it is a easy target and easy for them to dismiss him off as a smut peddler. The reason he was a target was because of the Iraq pictures.

I think the point he was making is the iraq pictures are the reason they pursued the case..

we all know there are hundreds of worse sites operating in the u.s. so obviously theres some reason they hit him hard.

heywood 10-12-2005 09:04 PM

He's currently not allowed to go on the internet, so he won't even be viewing GFY, better yet posting. But I'm sure that will be lifted soon.

Glad he got out. The whole situation is fucked.

Those of you who think the Iraq photos don't have anything to do with this, I've got a nice bridge to sell you.

I think it had more to do with deciding to run a adult business in a county that has a history of going after porn webmasters.
