Quicktime - What's your opinion?
 

What do you all think about Quicktime as a format for your members areas videos?

not many people use it but i like the quality...

quality is amazing, cross browser/system compatibility is great....

stability is questionable though. It has it's bugs.

I would prefer to use it. I use WMV though as I find PC users bitch less about it.

I do all my members area vids in Quicktime format. If someone has the bandwidth to download a 70MB movie from me they sure as hell can download a quicktime reader. And they will. Horny men will do whatever it takes to view the movies they want to see.

their quality is good, but their player is something i like to stay away from for some reason.

True. True. Dat. Dat.

I hate quicktime plus its a non-native on PC's so surfers are forced to get the download.... Much easier on the surfer to use a mpg or wmv imho
