I speak French and a fair bit of Mi'kmaq native

In French Beer = Biere - je veux une biere (I want a beer)

In Mi'kmaq there isn't a word for beer. (At least not that I know of)

But to say you want some alcohol = getugtnumqwanet - to want an alcohol drink.
