How the hell do I block damn winfixer?
 

This frigging pop up is driving me nuts.

I've got microsoft anti spyware.
AVG virus scanner.
XP sp2 pop up blocker on max

I use online trend virus scan.
And several others.

This system is clean. But that damn winfixer keeps POPING UP!!!!

What can I do to stop the thing.

Have you tried Bullet or Trend micro?

My son had it on his PC. Here's the program that will get rid of it for good.

that one is a bitch to get rid of. I've removed it off customers machines a few times. Depending on how bad it is in there, you will need to kill some processes, run pretty much every damn spyware scanner known heh. Do a search for fix winfixer.

the geeks2go forum is really helpful also. They will have you run a hi jack this and post the log to begin with I think.

Yeh, geeks to go is good, but you really have to know what you're doing when you start fucking with RegEdit.
