Wow, can't even sign up for a charity auction now a days without getting spam
 

i have an email [email protected] which i ONLY used for the tsunami charity auction. now i'm getting weekly spam from the adult broker in which i never signed up for. the email is hidden but i checked the headers to see where it was coming from. so much for non profit auctions.

I'm not sure whether or not the auction disclaimer said anything about selling email addresses, but its pretty lame, IMO. I'm getting them, too. I sure hope whoever sold the list donated the profits to the tsunami victims.

Hmmm I remember there was an error and there was a group email send out with all emailsadresses uncovered.
People started sending "joke-spam"

oh yeah good call.... i forgot about that, so i guess it was from whoever sent out the katrina charity auction email not knowing what the fuck they were doing when they sent out the email. thats still unethical to steal all the emails off there and add them to your email list and try to hide the to address.
