Best wine to serve with:
Chicken breast; lightly seasoned with oregano, garlic and pepper.
I'm thinking a good Merlot, since its a late dinner. Thoughts? |
Red :thumbsup

Merlot is Red. We agree. I rock. |
Technically chicken breast is white meat - shouldn't it be a white?

Thats what I'm asking dude. I dont know these fancy smancy hippy wine rules. Who makes those rules anyway? Is he French and how high is his T-Cell count. I'm just asking. |

I hear ya, I personally prefer a GOOD Cabernet. I'm out though :( |
No, no, no!
Outrage!! Serve Champagne...Not Don perignon, but a slightly sweet tasting one like Moet Chandon...Classy and about 35 bucks a pop |

Homey, your idea of a nice date is a couple of fohtees of Colt '45 and a car that HASNT been reported stolen yet. And a 19 year old WHITE chick who hates her daddy. bwahahahahahah |
Merlot is shit
|
all this white for fish or white meats and red for dark meats is a complete bull
it all dependes on if the wine is good and the seasoning of the dish |

As for the original question: a Pinot Blanc or a Pinot Gris would probably be good, maybe a Chardonnay. The oregano also makes a Chianti a possibility, although I wouldn't go for that myself. |

I have a good Chianti. You know your shit, thanks. |

Personally I like a nice pinot gris or chiraz with chicken.

A nice Vouvray from Loire Valley would do. $12 or less at your local distro.
White of course. |
leave the wine for the chick
and drink whiskey or a simple beer youself :thumbsup |
