How to Promote Affliate Program
 

What is the best way to promote a niche-based aff program? common, help a noob.

From where you are going to promote, what kind of traffic do you get there, what kind of sponsor are you promoting ect.

Without such info, we cant help you.

I am starting my own aff program on site that's been around for a long time (Since 1998). We have high retention in the punishement niche.

Thanks for the tips. I want to promote a good program without being obnoxious or spammy about it. My goal is to convert more female traffic. Our sites have sold very well with the ladies.

I was going to say - start with a sig. Second thought, put a program together and then make a big splash with advertising on GFY, a contest that requires traffic, prizes.

A lot depends on your CC processor or software you will use to manage the program. I'm an affiliate, not a sponsor, so there are others around with some experience.

I think in the end, it boils down to how much money you have to kick start the program. So far it sounds like a single site program. Maybe it makes sense to hook up with someone that has all the tools in place? :2 cents:

If you're looking for female traffic - I'd offer a special bump for female webmasters! You know, a basket of bubbly bath products with a flogger thrown in for x number of signups.

You've got 90% of GFY beat already then, thats a good start. Definitely get your sig going with your program in it, an eye catching well designed button would do nicely (be sure to follow the sig rules although most do not). Spend some time on the other forums here at GFY as well, dont just focus on the main forum because each is like a community unto itself and you dont want to isolate anyone.

People here love fan signs and they drool constantly over models here but most wont link to you unless they are getting paid for it, fan sign or not, so get yourself a model doing domination and punishment pics, do a few dozen fan signs, and more than likely earn a few dozen affiliates looking to get paid along with their free picture.
