How do you log out of an htaccess/htpasswd protected area

no way to make a log out link?

No. There are two ways of making the login box reappear..

1. Close your browser and open a new one..

2. Change the "realm" part of your login.. Which doesn't log out the old user, but allows you to log in with a new username.. And basically throws away all security..
