Converted all my tgps into blogs
 

Let's see how it goes. I need to get lots more updates and better descriptions going but, results are good so far. It really appears people like having galleries picked for them and described.

Already saw some sales that I seldom got with the old tgp design.

Has only been one day, LOL so I know can not make any crazy statements. But so far the results have been great. I have to say it put some of the joy back of being online and working. Before I just had a bunch of scripts take hosted galleries and what not. This way seems much more personal. Plus since I am online all the time is quite fun :)

What script do you use?

I've had several webmasters do the same thing and they've made more money.
I think it's something new and so they're interested. Plus they read the comments, it's amazing. YOUCANREAD should be praising the adult community for encouraging reading

Since I have not installed a script yet I don't have the comments available. However from what I have heard I thought a lot of people end up closing the comments becasuse of people posting other sites. But, I don't really know cause I just started.

Thanks for the comments. Right now I am doing the updating the old fashoined way. Using an html editor and making the entries. Once time goes on I will need archive pages and was thinking about making them with shtml includes as to keep the basic template. I really should just go ahead and get a script included on my sites though ...

blogs are better than TGPs....

only http://isaac.wedin.org/photopress/ which makes uploading/thumbing pics a breeze, no ftp required. there's tons of other stuff available for it though.

I am thinking of turning a tgp or two into blogs, maybe get more traffic and more sales.

If I just had what it takes to write such descriptions in correct english... :(

I know Rob Mentioned this above, but we have just started Blog hosting at RevShare. We looked at all the systems available and chose the WordPress system for our customers and so far I am hearing good things.

Since blog marketing is so new, the jury is still out on its effectiveness. So please post comments from anyone else who is doing this and let us all know how its going.
