Firefox Extensions question
I updated Firefox recently and it wiped out my extensions when doing so. How do I add my extensions back on the toolbar?
I still see my extensions listed under Tools>Extensions |
Odd, I never experienced this after upgrading. You may want to just reinstall them all.
|
did you upgrade to the new beta version? most extensions still won't work there...
|
strange indeed

The extensions should automatically show up after I download them, correct? Or do I need to do something else?

If you didn't upgrade to 1.5 - which does stop you from using your extensions - then you are simply coming up against the irrefutable fact that Firefox sucks.
Yeah, I still use it but I can't get my extensions to show up either, sometimes the links bar goes away, occassionally it'll "pop" and go away, it hogs memory, and something I did has totally prevented any sort of pop up or *even* new window from opening. I'm stuck using new tabs. Try Opera. If it weren't for all my bookmarks, live bookmarks and saved passwords I wouldn't use Firefox ever again. |

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USERID\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.f6x\extensio ns\ If there's none, probably your previous profile has been replaced. That's bad news. Weird, so far I haven't encountered such problem with FF. here's a bump for you :smokin |
