mgp galleries and higher quality video?
 

has anyone here done large scale testing to see if higher quality videos on your galleries get you more signups?

i think quiet tested that one for about 7 years?

if you are trying to sell your site as high quality you need high quality samples

We are going to be adding new movie galleries this week with high quality samples. Been testing some of them on our members area, and they went down great. Looking at around 1220kbs WMV which gives brill quality, so long as the orrigional movie is of HQ. Which ours all are :winkwink:

when i mean high quality i am reffering to 1000kbps+ wmv videos at higher resolutions then the normal 320x240

those are some big samples, how have they done so far

Surfers thinking about joining a site are often tired of small previews. So a better quality preview could convince them. :)

Hmm, I think a low (basic) quality sample is like a window into a store... they can look in and decide if they want to come in. I'm not sure a super high quality sample would change the opinion much.
