What equipment / software will I need for video digitizing/editing?

Can you tell me what equipment / software I will need for digitizing multiple video's to 3 common formats and editing it into clips and trailers?

People that offer these kind of services are welcome to contact me as well!

Thanks.

sony vegas is always a very good choice.

and for encoding, i LOVE sorenson squeeze, or you can use vegas. if these are too pricey, you can try video edit magic or even the VERY cheap ulead video toolbox.

Pinnacle Studio 9 is great and low cost

It will do most of what you need. And its a good way to teach yourself the basics if you want to ever go pro.

Plus a second big harddrive is a good idea,

sony vegas is badass.
for encoding consider using VideoCharge, it's the best for video galleries

Seeing as you asked for a reply. I provide video encoding, storage and delivery solutions.

We encode in any format but are finding the call to encode into Flash FLV format more and more.

You can see an example at: www.drivelight.com/demo1 www.drivelight.com/demo

We have not had time to build the corporate site yet. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

As a side note that I didnt add. The video are encoded for 1MB bit rate. VERY high. They were demos for another client and I just happen to have them available. Also, the video is a progressive download and not a stream.

Thanks
