Yeah, I know it's a spider. Any idea what kind? It's at least 1 inch wide and God knows how many inches it can stretch out to. If it helps any, it lives in SoCal.

yea supposedly they are pretty tame, but im not trying to find out. i walked into one of their webs one time, it was all over my head... i about freaked the fuck out.

My thoughts exactly. With my luck, if I fuck with it thinking it's safe then the fucker will turn out to be something else and not as friendly.

There is only one spider I am truely disgusted by. It's a certain jumping spider in Costa Rica. I have no idea what it's actually called, but I had a few encounters with these bastards. They are about the size of a... uhh.... between the size of an American quarter and a Canadian toonie. They can jump across rooms and stick to almost any surface they land on, including your FACE!


I swear to god I had one of those fxckers jump on my head/neck a couple times. I remember the housekeeper laughing at me because I was running in terror from a couple of them in my room. I couldn't squash them because they would just jump at my face.

I know people living there right now with 0 bug problems. The house in question had a big grassy field and a bunch of trees behind it. Spider breeding grounds. :disgust
