Can you help me with some music suggestions for a halloween party/event playlist ? Especially anything goth/death metal, camp, etc.. would be great.

I should troll through my bookmarks more often, almost missed the thread :)

Depends on what kind of atmosphere you wanna have at the party

If you liked the Tristania songs, grab whole "Beyond the Veil" album and "Widow's Weeds". They are both gothic and melancholic with faster and slower songs. But make sure to play Opus Relinque at the party! That song is like a halloween anthem. It was even on Dracula soundtrack. :)

If you have a lively party and want to dance to polka-halloween-troll-style, breaking things instead of being melancholic, make sure to check out Finntroll! Jaktens Tid is a good album, check out song "Skogens Hämnd" to hear what it sounds like.

If you want in-your-face fast pounding black metal with creepy parts, get Emperor's "Anthems to the welkin at dusk", check out "With strength I burn" or "I am the black wizards" songs, or "Alsvartr" (slow creepy intro).
Limbonic Art sounds very similar to Emperor, if you like Emperor albums or liked the Limbonic Art song that I had in the previous post, get Epitome of Illusions album, it's symphonic black metal type of thing, some creepy parts.

For death metal, any Cryptopsy album will get you weird looks from people who don't listen to metal. :1orglaugh Any songs from "Whisper Supremacy" or "And then you'll beg" or "None so Vile" will do the job.. heck, any album will do! LOL Check out "Phobophile" song, it has a cool piano intro.

Azaghal's album "Of beasts and vultures" will get a reaction similar to Cryptopsy, it's black metal instead of death.

If you dress up as Vikings at your party, make sure you get song Victorious March of mighty Amon Amarth, and then whole "Once sent from the golden hall" album. It's more like a fist-in-your-face viking metal. "As long as raven flies" is a cool slower song.

Once you're all tripped out and want something slower but still in spirit of metal and halloween, tune in to Burzum's "Filosofem" album. Great chilling music. :thumbsup

Dunno if that helped! Lemme know which songs/albums you liked and maybe I can suggest more.

Btw, for some slow chilling music with female/clean male vocals, you can get a good playlist (about 2+ hours) going from Tristania/Sirenia/(early)Theatre of Tragedy/Empyrium albums
