NFL Week 5

I thought the pics were hard this week. I went against the line several times. There was no way I weighting Indy high. They screw me no matter what I do. So I gave SF a weighting of 1.

I think the Colts will bow out the 49ers... they have no D

CDSmith 10-09-2005 12:03 PM

I picked the niners too.... no way the dolts are winning by more than 14 pts.

But overall I'm getting hosed so far today. :(

I wouldn't bet against the Colts. Do you remember last year? They won most games by a lot more than 14 points, and this year they have the league's best defense as well. SF is the worst team in the league. I'd say they'll win by 21+ today.

I agree. I love Manning on the road. I think all the yelling from the crowd pumps him up alot and he just gobbles it up and throws TD's. I expect to see them run SF over today.

Your statement is off.

So is yours. Compare the teams they have each played and you will see San Fran has had an easier start and couldn't do squat.

It's a Betting Gods kind of thing.

If I take Indy, they will lose or not cover..

If I take their opponent, they will win or cover.

A girl just can't win. ;)

picks are always hard cuz something surprising happens every week.... dang that vinny... I'm glad I picked the packers

and last week before MNF, almost all the analysts were saying Favre was too old and should hang it up.. lol..

Vitasoy 10-09-2005 03:29 PM

Colts are now leading 21-3 with around 15mins left

PlugRush Sascha 10-09-2005 03:37 PM

Detroit tore some shit up. Detroit, WHAT?!

adonthenet 10-09-2005 03:39 PM

Vitasoy 10-09-2005 03:46 PM

Never say never, Colts win 28-3 and even gave manning some rest near the end. :upsidedow

After week 4 you can't tell shit just from looking at records. SF is the worst team in the league, I didn't say they had the worst week 4 record.

Who was right about the SF/Indy game anyway? I didn't get a chance to watch it. :winkwink:

StickyGreen 10-09-2005 04:29 PM

records mean nothing...look at oakland's record, they are way better than that...

They beat the rams. That's more than a few of those other teams could say. :1orglaugh

I never said you could tell shit about a team after 4 weeks, so what's your point? You said the 49'ers are the worst team in the league, I provided the current stats that say otherwise... no more no less. :D

And that's why it's called gambling dude. I took a chance that Indy wouldn't beat the spread is all.... but they did. I lost that one. I wasn't attempting to even insinuate that San Fran might win, although stranger things have been known to happen.

Good luck to me next week, this week is a wash.

Luck to you too. :thumbsup
